The much awaited weekend is upon us.
It's His birthday!

Two days alone
A cabin in the woods...
As much fun as we can stand!!
Now we are wondering
Will it happen at all??
It's the day before
And wouldn't you know
There's a sick kid.
Please...oh please...let her be better by morning.

ReplyDeleteI have to admit, I did think of that yesterday. And it's really hard to tell. She really feels sick so of course when I ask if she's worried about us going, she says "yes, but that's not why I feel bad" but I know anxiety can cause some pretty crazy stuff within your body so it wouldn't surprise me if that's what we are dealing with. So far, she isn't feeling better this morning. Letting her sleep in and see if that helps. Keep fingers crossed...hell...keep everything crossed!
DeleteKeeping fingers crossed for you. Many a plan has been scuppered by the sick child - like chicken pox on the day of my cousin's wedding.
