The Truth

He once told me,
As I walked out the door,
Trying to turn my back on our life together,
"No one will ever love you like I do".
What cruel words I thought.
Now I realize, He was speaking only the most sincere truth.

  1. I've been told this by my dom as well and was angered because I didn't believe him! When you stop fighting the truth and just believe and let go, joy will fill your heart. Your posts resonate with me so much!!

    1. Pearl, I couldn't agree more. Sometimes I think we can't hear what they are saying because we are too busy listening to our own thoughts. And you are so right... My heart is in a really good place right now and I am so happy that is coming through in my writings:)

  3. Likewise, we subconsciously put ourselves into spaces where the advice we give or the words we hear will indicate and validate what we really need and long to hear. At that moment, wasn't that exactly what you needed to hear, that you were his and you were both free and bound, and breaking through meant shedding the illusion that you might want otherwise? What seemed cruel became insight in the Zen of it.
